Out of the Blue's Jellycat Adventures - Recycle Week
Posted on
Bun Bun the Bunny noticed that the staff in Out of the Blue were looking at the Calendar and were saying that it is Recycle Week in the UK.
When the shop closed for the night Bun Bun went to go and check the rubbish bin and found Crispin the Crab scuttling across the floor with some rubbish and decided to hop along behind him to see where he was going.
Crispin met up with Wilbur Whale who seemed to be doing some oragnising and so Bun Bun asked what was going on.
Wilbur told Bun Bun that they regularly sort the rubbish for the shop into recycling where possible and general waste. By recycling as much as we can this helps stop plastic pollution going into the ocean and contaminating it.
Out of the Blue's super sorter is Obie Octopus who makes light work of separating the rubbish with his multiple tentacles, which makes it much more fun.
Bun Bun tells Wilbur, Crispin and Obie that they are doing a great job and that he will tell all the other Jellycats what they can do to help protect the oceans and the planet.
Do you know what to recycle?
If not then please check your local authority website for more details so you can also do your part.
Happy Recycle Week!
